The close of our WhestRail Highlander season will be a steam hauled train to Fort William by K4 locomotive 61994 The Great Marquess in both directions from the Glasgow area. The train will be diesel hauled initially from Falkirk to Glasgow.

On this occasion in association with West Coast Railways we may operate a Sunday steam shuttle to Glenfinnan over the viaduct before heading south in the afternoon. An update of this will appear in our news items on the homepage.

On Saturday September 25th the train will call for passengers at

  • Falkirk Grahamston Depart - 11.00
  • Glasgow Springburn Depart - 11.45
  • Dumbarton Central Depart - 12.20
  • Helensburgh Upper Depart - 13.30

On Sunday September 26th the schedule will be
